Heaven on Earth (found in Felton, CA).
It's the simple things in life that sometimes bring the greatest joy. For Theo, it's trains, including Thomas the Tank Engine. If you're a boy bordering on the age of two, how much closer can you get to heaven on earth than actually riding Thomas in real life? (Although, truth be told, the shuttle train ride to and from the parking lot was just as exciting).

Bicycle built for 2
Our first attempt at biking with Theo and the Burley was a whirring success! Riding out to the Water Temple and back, Theo saw trains, planes, automobiles, and snuck in a short nap. Unfortunately, this was followed up by a less than stellar ride across the Dumbarton and back. We have no documentation of that trip, other than the site of our nauseous toddler seared into memory.

Tiburonian Easter dinner
Easter dinner in Marin is always a treat. This was Theo's first Easter gathering with the Canada-Schneider-Block clan, including Uncle Bill, Aunt Chris, Uncle Steve, Auntie Karen, Uncle Bruce, Auntie Donna, Bernice, Rusty, Kevin, Susie, and the pending bambino. Theo found Maggie extra fascinating, although I doubt that she and her tufts of Theo-pulled hair felt the same way.

The new migrant worker lives in our house
Don Juan returns to his shiggol (country) roots! Determined to prevent the neighborhood squirrels from grabbing the last of the persimmons from the tree behind our house, dad donned a messenger bag and a pair of clippers, and scaled the tree like Spiderman! The IDEO-branded Timbuk2 bag finally finds its place in guerilla farming.
